Camp Details

We will have 1 bus that will bring children from Kanata, with stops in Nepean & and Ottawa. At a lower price, parents will have a choice to use the bus or not, coordinate carpooling and/or drop their children at Camp Fortune.

All staff and campers (12 and up) must be vaccinated. We will keep everyone posted with Ontario/Quebec new guidelines as they become available.

All camps will continue to run from 9 AM to 4 PM daily with the addition of pre-and post care from 8-9 AM and 4-5:00 PM.

This fun filled week will be full of physical and mental challenges, outdoor adventures, cooperative games, theme days, arts and crafts, and plenty of team building activities that will bring

 “SURVIVOR” to our campers! Our goal is to show our campers how positive thinking and leadership will help them build future success in their own lives. Survivor Camp is an Adventure!

What to EXpect

Our popular shelter building will have more twits this year. We have added the decorating challenge. Everyday the tribe will have the chance to win an extra item for their tribe’s shelter. The tribe with the most items at the end of the week, wins a special award!
Our survivor badges will be back this year! Earn your badge and become our National Kids Camps Survivor Camper of the Year 2022 or receive one of our other amazing badges!

We will learn to build fires and compete between the four tribes on who can burn through the rope first (just like they do on survivor). Then we will roast marshmallows as we always do!

This year we will be using more hidden idols!

Compete Against Other Tribes at Meech Lake with these amazing Masks, looking for treasures under the water, going thru hoops, and following the staff’s instructions…
(Only Camp in town to have these amazing masks) every child is designated a mask for the week due to COVID-19

 

Weekly Carnival “Survivor style” to finish off the week just like we did in 2021. 

  1. Hiking
  2. Aerial Park -****WE ARE HOPING THAT THE AERIAL PARK WILL BE OPEN! WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE THIS DUE TO COVID.
  3. Physical/Mental/Food/Immunity Challenges

  10. Stand Up Paddleboard Competitions-We will try more than once a week

5 Day Cost: $379+hst
