For those campers who will not need the transportation portion of the camp (parents who are driving their children to and from Camp Fortune) we offer a free supervision every day from 8 to 9 AM and 4 to 5 PM.

SUP- STAND UP PADDLE BOARD AT MEECH LAKE! To all our Camp Fortune mountain bike campers! Every Monday we will pick your Bike up (from your specific bus stops). With twitter updates to let you know where we are. It will safely be stored at Camp Fortune (under security)... and returned to you on Friday! This way you will not have to go back and forth.. The bus will be followed by this handsome guy... and a trailer...there are still a few spots left.

    2020 Mountain Bike Kids Camp

    This is a fun-filled and exciting way of exploring the great outdoors. Riding a winding mountain trail through forests, up and over hills, across streams and old farmlands, will focus your attention on each maneuver you make!

    Each day the group will ride trails, use maps, and explore the area's trail system.

    Along the way stops may be made for hiking, snacks, looking for frogs, and more.

    Instructors will teach participants safe riding technique, balance, ascending/descending, braking and bunny hopping.

    1. Ages 8-14 Campers are grouped by age and ability, and receive plenty of individual attention from coaches

    2. Campers provide their own bikes (rentals available- $99+HST for the week. Call 613 723 1101 to reserve bike), helmets, water, snacks, and lunches

    3. Mechanics and coaches do a bike fit and helmet check on first morning of camp

    4. Campers learn bike handling skills, trail etiquette, bike maintenance, and develop awesome trail riding skills

    5. All abilities are welcome

    6. Bike storage is available for the week

    7. Participants will also learn the fundamentals of environmentally sound and responsible trail building and maintenance. Campers will participate in safe, fun, and positive games and activities given by their experienced coaches.

    Campers Must Bring!

      1. Signed waiver - provided first day

      2. Mountain Bike (tuned up and ready to go)

      3. Helmet and gloves (knee and elbow pads recommended)

      4. Lunch and lots of healthy Snacks

      5. Spare inner tube and portable bike tools

      6. (a) Water bottle and light back (b) Hydration pack for riding and carrying gear

      7. Rain gear – riding rain or shine!

      8. Change of clothes, swimsuit and towel, extra running shoes
